Powerprox Six Month Braces
Powerprox Six Month Braces is a groundbreaking procedure that is making waves in the field of cosmetic dentistry. It is a technique that effectively straightens the front teeth to their most beautiful position, giving you an attractive smile. This procedure can help if your teeth are crowded, overlapped or have gaps. Powerprox Six Month Braces is a fast, affordable and completely safe method of straightening your teeth, and it can all be done right in our Encino office.
How does the Powerprox system work?
Dr. Matian will begin by using clear brackets and an ultra-thin wire for the first 30 days of treatment. This ultra-thin wire creates a pulling affect on the desired teeth, which results in visible changes at the end of the initial 30-day period. As treatment continues, Dr. Matian will gradually increase the thickness of the wire each month, making further changes to the alignment of your teeth.
This procedure is often done to align teeth before the application of cosmetic veneers. This combination ensures that your dental cosmetic makeover will have the best results possible, while also making the veneer procedure more conservative.
Will it only take 6 months to straighten my teeth?
The time it takes to straighten one’s teeth will vary from patient to patient, but in the majority of cases, the six-month time period is sufficient to straighten teeth and is done so without the type of pain that is generally associated with traditional braces.
Do they look like traditional metal braces?
While we are all used to traditional unsightly metal braces, PowerProx Six Month Braces look a little different. Unlike traditional braces, these brackets are clear making them much less noticeable. If you are truly concerned with appearance, then Invisalign or ClearCorrect may be the best option for you. At Bio Dental, we offer both solutions.
